Pengaruh Literasi Ekonomi terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Siswa Kelas X3 di Sma Swasta ILE Boleng Tahun Pelajaran 2025/2026

Abstract

Economic literacy constitutes a foundational competency for students navigating an increasingly complex economic environment, yet many senior high school students still struggle to translate abstract economic concepts into everyday decision-making. This study examines the effect of economic literacy on the economic learning outcomes of grade X3 students at SMA Swasta Ile Boleng during the 2025/2026 academic year. A descriptive-analytical quantitative approach was applied, involving the entire population of 33 students as respondents through simple random sampling. Economic literacy was measured through a Likert-scale questionnaire, while learning outcomes were measured through end-of-semester examination scores; both were analyzed using simple linear regression at a 5% significance level. The instrument demonstrated adequate validity and reliability (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.862). Results show that economic literacy has a positive and significant partial effect on learning outcomes, with t-count (3.388) exceeding t-table (2.039) at a significance value of 0.002. The regression equation obtained was Y = 29.381 + 0.261X, with economic literacy explaining 27.0% of the variance in learning outcomes (R² = 0.270). These findings indicate that strengthening students' economic literacy remains a relevant strategy for improving economic learning achievement, particularly within a rural, digitally supported implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka
