Margodadi Village, Sleman Regency, has cultural, agricultural, culinary, and natural resources with strong potential for community-based ecotourism. These resources include agricultural education, cultural practices, wayang suket (grass puppet) crafting, local cuisine, and river tubing. However, their development is constrained by limited human resource capacity in culture-based tourism services, suboptimal MSME financial management, limited digital marketing strategies, and insufficient integration of digital technology for cultural education and promotion. This community service program aims to strengthen community capacity in managing cultural potential and local wisdom, improve tourism service standards based on Javanese etiquette (unggah-ungguh), enhance MSME financial management and digital marketing skills, and develop interactive educational media using Augmented Reality (AR). The program employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through five stages: outreach and initial mapping, hands-on training, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and sustainability strategy development. Cultural service capacity was evaluated through pre- and post-training assessments using nine indicators grouped into the ILAT, ULAH, and ULAT dimensions across three community groups. The results showed an increase in the average score from 75.09 before training to 86.88 after training, representing an improvement of 11.79 points or 15.70%. The program also strengthened digital bookkeeping for MSMEs, developed AR-based media for local cuisine, enhanced digital branding, optimized websites, and established a digital promotion system. These outcomes demonstrate that integrating human capacity building, cultural preservation, business governance, and digital technology provides a relevant empowerment approach for supporting sustainable community-based ecotourism and strengthening community participation in managing local tourism resources over time and local ownership.
